Job Title: Design & Delivery Designer
Job Summary:
Marcom is the creatively led global team that oversees our consumer-facing marketing.
We do that with inspiring people, a creative first mentality, and the belief our marketing efforts impact the business in our region. This role requires blending design and production expertise to bring bold ideas to life with meticulous detail.
The Design & Delivery Designer will work within the Design CD and Production agencies, ensuring the original design vision is maintained through every stage of implementation. It calls for a mix of creative concepting and technical production skills to evaluate and control the quality of all graphic materials, both print and digital, for the Korea market. A passion for translating creative concepts into high-standard executions and a keen eye for detail in typography, motion,
print, and digital/interactive production is essential.
Description:
1) Creative and Technical Excellence
: Oversee quality control of graphic materials and prepare digital-ready assets for our website, partner websites, and social media.
:Identify and resolve design and production issues related to resolution, pixel grids, color settings, cropping, scaling, and retouching.
2) Global Campaign Adaptation
: Understand global campaign development and localization.
:Adapt campaigns for local markets independently and in collaboration with agencies and designers
3) Collaborative Partnerships
: Ensure effective communication and collaboration with various internal/external partners to meet project timelines.
4) Vendor Management
: Select and manage external vendors, overseeing production design and artwork for digital and print, ensuring alignment with our standards.
5) Conceptual Collaboration
: Work closely with the creative team to translate ideas into visually compelling designs that align with the brand standards.
6) Project Coordination
: Manage the Design Quality Assurance (DQA) reviews of all our interactive pages, DMs, and all digital and print Channels deliverables.
7) Scaling Campaigns
: Oversee design and production for scaling campaigns, maintaining consistency while adapting for different mediums, markets, and audiences.
:Build production guidelines by developing documents, outlining design direction, and production specifications for internal and external partners.
8) Creative Execution
: Strategize and adapt designs through planning, executing core creative elements across print and digital deliverables, and adjusting for various aspect ratios and scales.
9) Design Implementation
: Execute creative direction across various mediums with versatility to work from sketches, rough layouts, or verbal input.
10) Design System and Tool Management
: Maintain consistency and efficiency by staying current with our design systems and tools.
: Coordinate with global partners on shared libraries and resources.
Requirements:
- Relevant production design experience in an agency or in-house design/advertising environment
- Highly proficient with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, plus Keynote design layout skills
- BA in Design or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in production design or related design roles
- Experience working across diverse teams including creative, production, and content
- Knowledge of global campaign development and localization
- Skilled in partnering with internal teams and external vendors under pressure
- Business-level written and oral communications skills in English and Korean
